What are CLECs required to do?

CLECs must:

1. Inform the Commission of changes in information contained on the original petition.
2. File annual reports for assessment purposes.
3. Respond to data requests issued by the Commission staff, although these are rare.
4. Abide by the rules regarding notice of changes in rates and terms of subscription in Wis. Admin. Code § ATCP 123.04.
5. Comply with all statutes specified as applicable by the CLEC and certification order.

How should CLECs notify the Commission of changes to information, such as name changes, etc.?

On company letterhead, signed by the CEO or President, CLECs should provide notification addressed to:

Sandy Paske , Secretary to the Commission
Public Service Commission of Wisconsin
610 N Whitney Way
PO Box 7854
Madison, WI 53707-7854

or, by email from CEO or President, sent to pscrecs@wisconsin.gov.

Such letters must be received by the Commission within 20 days of occurrence, although staff recommends that notification be in advance, where possible, to allow staff to respond to customer inquiries. The letters should include the 4-digit PSC identification number for the CLEC involved.

Is Commission approval required for mergers, transfers in control, or stock transactions?

No. Companies are to notify the Commission, on company letterhead, of such activities within 20 days of occurrence.
