Records Retention Requirements for Electric, Natural Gas and Water Utilities

The PSC has issued an Order establishing records retention requirements for Electric, Natural Gas and Water Utilities in docket 5-US-114.

Note for Municipal Utilities: Municipal utilities in Wisconsin are also subject to “municipal” record retention requirements adopted by the Department of Administration. In the case of a conflict between the two retention requirements, the longer retention period should be utilized.
