On April 3, 2008, the Commission issued a notice opening this docket for investigation.

PSC Commissioner Lauren Azar is led this effort with the support of various PSC staff.  The group investigating the feasibility of alternative rate design and load management options has met with outside experts and with a small group of stakeholders to assess initial feedback on key concepts and solicit input at the beginning of this process.  In the second half of 2008, the group created a draft paper on alternative rate design and load management options for Wisconsin. Public comments were compiled and final recommendations on the concepts were available at the end of 2008.
