On March 24, 2016, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin issued a draft version of "Energy 2022," Wisconsin's biennial, statutorily-required, strategic energy assessment.The draft is currently available for public comment and review.
The Commission is asking the public to comment on the draft report. Comments will be included in the final version issued later this year. All comments are due by July 8, 2016. More information can be found here.
"Governor Walker has signed Act 278, the Broadband Forward! Community certification bill that allows municipalities the option to streamline administrative procedures in order to increase efficiency and speed in expanding broadband access to participating communities. PSC staff are currently working to prepare related materials which will be shared via press release and on this site when they are available. The Commission is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for Broadband Expansion
Grants for Fiscal Year 2017. Applications are due June 16, 2016. Application instructions and additional materials may be found here.
